Natural foods to help you last longer in bed

In recent years, there have been so many issues emanating from the other room. “He is a two-minute man, she is too weak in bed, and he doesn’t last in bed” etc. are phrases that are now common in the society.

These are some of the reasons why many people have decided to do sexual compatibility test before saying ‘I DO’ to avoid regrets in the marriage. Sex has been adjudged to be one of the greatest pleasures of humans and people desire to enjoy it to the fullest. So being with a partner who doesn’t last in the other room can really be frustrating and can lead to many issues.

However, there are natural remedies that can help you last in the other room to enjoy sex to its fullest. Below are some foods that can aide your sexual prowess and make you a tiger/tigress in the other room. 

1. Fish: Researches have shown that fish is a food item that enhances sex life in both men and women. It has been discovered that arginine, a nutrient present in certain types of fish helps in the production of nitric acid in the body. This acid helps expand the blood vessels near the genital areas which is extremely helpful in making you last longer. Also, fish contains zinc which is extremely vital for men as even a moderate deficiency can lead to a reduced sperm count.

2. Honey: It has been scientifically proven that honey is extremely good for your sex life. Kama Sutra, one of the esteemed books on sexual health that has been read for centuries, recommends the use of honey for a healthy sex life. Honey contains natural sugars like fructose which boosts your stamina making you last longer!

3. Bananas: It is no news that having sex requires energy, and that is why eating banana a couple of hours before the act is good. According to experts, bananas help replenish low levels of glucose in your body and have male libido enhancing minerals and enzymes making you ready for a steamy night of passion. Also, they help regulate serotonin which is hormone that enhances your mood.

4. Red wine: It is been proven that just one glass of red wine can help boost your sex life, as it helps release dopamine in your brain. This vital chemical is responsible for emotions like desire, and if you are suffering from low libido, wine can definitely come to your rescue.

5. Carrots: It is no news that eating carrots is good for your eye as it contains more than 200% of your daily requirement of Vitamin A. Research have it that the same nutrient is good for your sex life too. Researchers have also found that beta-carotene (a nutrient present inc carrots) can help boost sperm production and increase sperm motility by 6.5 to 8%.

6. Strawberries: It is said that strawberries contain a lot of zinc, which helps maintain healthy testosterone levels in men. Women too can benefit from eating strawberries as zinc can help boost their libido. Experts have posited that eating strawberries can give you sustained levels of energy. Eat a handful if you want to last longer in bed. 

7. Vanilla ice cream: This one may seem unreal to you but research have shown that it can help you last longer in bed too. According to a study conducted at Chicago s Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation, the scent of vanilla helped relax men and helped them shed their inhibitions.

Also, calcium and phosphorus, two nutrients present in ice cream can help boost your libido. Calcium can also help in making orgasms more powerful, as they strengthen the muscles that control ejaculation, experts found.
