While Nigerians in Canada are yet to recover from the recent gruesome killings ranging from assassinations and accident, four Nigerians have again succumbed to the ferocious power of death in Toronto.
Reverend Dr. Adebusola Onayemo, specialist Anesthesiologist, author, elder is among the four persons that have depopulated the Nigerian community in Canada.
Confirming the development, a statement by his family said “It is with great sadness that the family of Reverend Dr. Adebusola (Busola) Onabajo Ayodeji Olusola Sunday Onayemi announces his sudden passing on August 1, 2022.

“Bùsọ́lá was born on May 6, 1951 to proud parents Joshua Adeyemo and Christiana Adetunji Ọnǎyẹmí at Wusasa Hospital in Zaria, Nigeria. He lived a life of service sharing his many gifts with all who had the pleasure of meeting him along his remarkable journey. Known for his curiosity, intelligence and sense of humour, Bùsọ́lá could fill a room with laughter recanting stories of his past or bring peace and comfort in difficult times with his presence alone.”
His funeral service has been slated for August 13th by 11:00am at Bethel Community Church, Ontario.
The late Onayemi is survived by his beautiful wife, Mobisola and children.
Similarly, Madam Christiana Amozie, passed on peacefully in her home on the 28th of July sorrounded by her family. She migrated to Canada a long time ago. She’s survived by her three daughters amongst who are Margaret Nwosu and Patricia Onumonu and seven grandsons. Burial arrangements will be revealed later.

More so, Anuoluwapo Salami returned to her Maker on the 29th of July after a brief illness, the family said. She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Service of honour was held for her on August 4th.

In another sad development, 4-year-old Emmanuel Maduabunachukwu Gyand died on the 31st of July at Toronto Sick Hospital while receiving treatment . As of the time of filing this report, his death is still being investigated.
