An 18-year-old man died recently after he was shot during a house party in Mount Royal, a suburb in Montreal.
Montreal police revealed that they received a call about someone severely injured by gunfire inside a private residence around 11.45 am.
They said the teenager was hit by more than a bullet in his upper body and was not conscious when he was taken to the hospital.
Const. Caroline Chèvrefils said the suspects ran away from the scene before the arrival of the police.
Investigators and crime scene experts were deployed to the house, and police said a lot of witnesses would be interviewed.
