The Mayor of Brampton, Patrick Brown, has revealed that he had a great time with the Presidential candidate of Labour Party of Nigeria, Peter Obi and the Nigerian Canadian community in Peel Region during the recent town hall meeting with Nigerians living in Canada.
The meeting was organized by Peter Obi Nigerian Canadian Interests Groups, took place recently at Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel and Suites in Mississauga, Ontario and was themed: “Positive Impact of the Diaspora to the Growth and development of Nigeria.”

During the meeting, Peter Obi made it known that the Nigerian Diaspora represent a broad segment of Nigeria’s human development capital and with their population, the Diaspora family has the capacity to catapult any nation to greatness.
Also, he presented his plans for Nigeria and told Nigerians not to vote for him because he is Igbo, Tall, and eloquent but they should vote for him because he is capable and competent to move Nigeria forward.
Patrick Brown was in attendance and was wowed by Peter Obi’s speech and the great attitude displayed by Nigerians who were present at the meeting. He tweeted: “Had a great time tonight with the Nigerian Canadian community in Peel Region and special guest Peter Gregory Obi. I love our growing and dynamic Nigerian Canadian community in #Brampton! .”
