Nigeria’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has taken Nana Hadiza, the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari as a third wife.
Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, confirmed this to newsmen.
“It is true. The AGF got married to the President’s daughter,” he said.
Hadiza, who is Buhari’s daughter from a previous marriage, is said to have been previously married and has six children.
According to reports, the ceremony took place inside the State House Mosque after the Jumat service, away from prying eyes of uninvited guests, including the media.
A source who spoke to newsmen on the condition of anonymity, said, “it was performed after the Jamat service”.
Malami has been married to Aisha and Fatima before now.
On her part, Hadiza had once been married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi and had six children before the marriage ended in a divorce.
