The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 288 new cases of the novel coronavirus across the country.
The announcement was made via the official Twitter handle of NCDC and according to the NCDC, Lagos State records 179 new cases, Kaduna records 20 cases, 15 cases were recorded in Katsina and Jigawa while 13 cases were recorded in Borno.
Ogun State has 11 new cases, Kano has 8 new cases, FCT records 7 new cases while Niger and Ekiti record 4 news cases each, 3 new cases were recorded in Oyo, Delta and Bauchi while 2 cases were recorded in Kwara and 1 case was recorded in Edo.
5445 confirmed cases have been recorded in Nigeria with 1320 patients so far discharged while 171 deaths have been recorded.
