The attempt of Kenyan Chef, Maliha Mohammed, to break the record for the longest cooking marathon was halted by a medical issue.
Chef Maliha started the challenge on November 15 with the aim of breaking the current 119-hour, 57-minute, and 16-second record, and was updating her supporters about her progress.

Her attempt to break Alan Fisher’s (Ireland) Guinness World Record was thwarted when she experienced a medical issue after surpassing the 111-hour mark.
In a video updated on her Instagram page, Maliha was seen unconscious on a stretcher, being attended to by medical personnel.
Despite the setback, she insisted that the emergency would not end her culinary marathon.
She wrote: “I am a conqueror and a marathon runner. Nothing is bringing us down; to the finish line, we go.”
