Bluesky, the decentralized social network created by tech visionary Jack Dorsey, has crossed a significant milestone, reaching 1 million users.
Though this number might look modest in comparison to major social media platforms, it is a notable achievement for Bluesky, considering its invite-only access.
This significant milestone achievement was revealed by, Rose Wang, a member of the Bluesky team.

Bluesky is renowned for its unique approach to social networking, permitting users to customize their timelines through personalized algorithms and opting for an ad-free experience, with a paid domain service to verify the identities of users.
Unlike its rival, Meta’s Threads, which commenced with widespread accessibility, Bluesky has been carefully distributing invite codes, leading to its gradual user base increment.
Though Threads by Meta reached 100 million users within one week of its launch in July, Bluesky’s approach emphasizes privacy and customization, which resonates with a specific user base.
