The officials of Executive Club in Manchester, United Kingdom has requested the appointment of Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, as the Grand Patron of the elites club.
The club noted the choice of Oluwo as their highest honorary title became necessary to tap from his wealth of experience to pilot the affairs of the club constructively.
Speaking through her president, Mr. Adewale Hassan said ” Your Imperial Majesty sir, We are seeking for your permission to have you as our GRAND PATRON It is going to be our Great pleasure to gain from your wealth of experience to continue to steer our Great Club to greater heights”
The club commended Oba Akanbi for rebranding Yoruba culture to the taste of all and sundry, saying Oluwo’s conducts have drawn the attention of even the foreigners to the richness of our cherished culture.
He therefore declared, on behalf of the club, an unalloyed support to Oluwo.
