Indo-Canadian Association Honours Ngozi Ugoh With Woman Hero Award

Indo-Canadian Association has honoured Ngozi Ugoh, the Publisher of Nigerian Canadian Newspaper, with Women Hero Award.

The award recognizes the dedication, commitment and outstanding contribution of women in the community and it was presented to her during the annual Gala event.

The event was attended by the Mayor of Brampton, Patrick Brown and other important dignitaries.

After the event, she took to her Facebook page and wrote: “I WANT MY FLOWERS WHILE I’M ALIVE. Award #30 👍 😘 🙂 Take all the glory Jehovah 👍 This is another award that is so dear to my heart, because it came from outside my community.

“All my 3 awards this year are not from my community. I would like to sincerely thank Mokshi Virk , Chitralekha Ajit Potnis Chitra, and team for this award from the Indo Canadian Ass. l am very GRATEFUL. I also want to thank Mary and Osas for their support, we had fun.

“When your impact is felt outside your community it means that you are doing something right. Hard work and dedication pays. Being in the right circles is the key. Be intentional in all you do. I dedicate this award to all the unsung heroes. DON’T QUIT. ❤️”
