Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Idah Peterside, has called for the sacking of the Super Eagles Coach, Jose Peseiro.
Peseiro led the Super Eagles to the final of the recently ended African Cup of Nations but the team lost to Ivory Coast to emerge second.
Goal from Franck Kessie cancelled Troost-Ekong’s opener while Sebastian Haller’s goal sealed the victory for the Ivorians.
Peterside, who hung the boots in 2002 and currently analyzes football, urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to sack Peseiro while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.

He stated that Peseiro’s moment with the national team is over while condemning Peseiro’s defensive approach to games which according to him is new to the country.
He said: “You know, a lot of people asked me yesterday, if the coach got to the finals. What do you think? I said, fire him!”
