The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria has said it will hold its 53rd Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2018.
The Registrar/Chief Executive, ICAN, Mr. John Evbodaghe, said the agenda of the meeting, slated to hold in Lagos, would include the adoption of the minutes of last year’s AGM.
He stated that the meeting would also receive the annual report of council, financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2017, and the auditors’ report thereon.
“Members of council will also be elected at the meeting. There would also be a special resolution seeking to amend the rules on election into council of the institute,” the statement added.
