Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi has hired another top lawyer to represent him in California.
Hushpuppi’s lawyer, Gal Pissetzky is only licensed to practice in Chicago, as such, he will be supported by Vicki Podberesky of Andrues/Podberesky law firm in Los Angeles.
The law firm specialises in representing clients in both state and federal criminal matters. The law firm also represents individuals and companies in administrative and in-house investigations.
Pissetzky had recently applied to appear Pro hac vice on behalf of Hushpuppi in California with an attestation letter from the Attorney Registration and the Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court in Illinois.
It was reported that Mrs Podberesky was hired by Hushpuppi as the local counsel to support Mr Pitsetssky after Justice Pedro V Castillo of the U.S court in California approved the Chicago lawyer’s Pro hac vice request.
After speaking with the publication, Pissetzky said
that the case was far from being set to go to trial because the U.S. government has not turned over all the evidence.
He said the date for Hushpuppi’s next appearance has not yet been released.
