In a shocking turn of events, the Kaduna State Police Command has apprehended a housewife suspected of orchestrating a plot to have her husband killed. The incident unfolded in the Rafin Guza community located in the Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state.
According to reports, the suspect’s husband had reportedly lent her the sum of N400,000 for business purposes. However, when he demanded repayment of the loan, she allegedly refused to comply. Instead of honoring her debt, she purportedly opted to hire a notorious gangster known as Tola and his associates to eliminate her husband, thereby silencing his demands for repayment.
Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region, brought attention to the case in a post on his social media handle, shedding light on the disturbing details of the incident.
Efforts to gather further information from the police were reportedly unsuccessful, as the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mansir Hassan, was unavailable for comment at the time of inquiry.
The arrest of the housewife underscores the gravity of the situation and highlights the importance of swift and decisive action by law enforcement authorities to address cases of criminality and violence within communities.
