According to police, a six-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after he was shot by his four-year-old friend in Manitoba.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said in a statement that the two kids “gained access to a firearm” while they were at a residence in Peguis First Nation, about 115 miles north of Winnipeg, recently.

According to police, “the four-year-old child discharged the firearm, striking a six-year-old child,” who was rushed to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
An adult male has been arrested and charged with unlawful firearm storage. Also, a crossbow and five guns have been seized.
