Four people who kidnapped two Canadian girls at Nhyiaso in Kumasi, Ghana in 2019 have been sentenced to 10 years jail term each by an Accra High Court.
This sentencing happened after they were found guilty by the court on the charges of conspiracy to kidnap and kidnapping at the end of a three-year trial.

The accused persons are Sampson Agalor, Elvis Ojiyorme, Jeff Onarsar and Yusif Yakubu.
The victims, Lauren Tilly and Bailey Chittey, were in Ghana for voluntary service and were kidnapped at the entrance of their hostel in Kumasi.
