Boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, has announced that his next fight against John Gotti III will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Las Vegas.
The comeback fight was announced by Mayweather on social media. While announcing the event, which is titled ‘Unfinished Business’, he wrote:: “Kicking Off Super Bowl Weekend – Unfinished Business. See You Guys In Las Vegas. More Details Coming Soon!”
The venue and date are yet to be confirmed by Mayweather’s team.
Mayweather has had seven exhibition fights since he retired from professional boxing in 2017.
He fought Gotti last June in Florida but the fight ended in a no-contest after referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight in the sixth round over excessive trash-talking.
The event later descended into chaos as a huge brawl took place between the camps of both fighters.
Before his fight with Mayweather, Gotti won two out of two boxing fights after switching to the sport from MMA.
