A section of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Secretariat in Asokoro, Abuja caught fire recently.
The fire affected the floor that houses the commission’s Accounting and Finance Department.
The inferno has been confirmed by a senior official of the Commission to journalists.
While confirming the incident, the senior official said emergency responders like firefighters had been deployed to the Secretariat to extinguish the fire.
