Officials of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have met with the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to talk about the extradition of the embattled Head of the IGP Intelligence Response Team, DCP, Abba Kyari, over the allegation of his involvement in a fraud scheme with a suspected internet fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abass, also known as Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi had revealed to a US court that he gave some money to Kyari so he could arrest his associate, Chibuzo Vincent after a $1.1 million deal went wrong.
The US District Court for the Central District of California had issued a warrant of arrest for Kyari and ordered the FBI to extradite him to the United States.
Kyari however denied the reports that he collected bribes from the suspected fraudster.
According to information gathered, four FBI agents met with Baba recently to begin moves for the extradition of the DCP to the US over his role in Hushpuppi’s fraudulent activities.
