Nigeria’s U-20 women’s football team, the Falconets, will face Netherlands in the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 women’s World Cup.
The team nailed the top spot in Group C after coming from behind to defeat Canada 3-1 in their final group game.

Esther Onyenezide’s brace and substitute Chioma Olise’s goal earned the Falconets their third victory of the tournament.
Falconets ended the group phase with nine points while France came second with six points. South Korea came third with three points and Canada remained bottom with no point.

The quarter final match between the Netherlands and the Falconets will be played at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuel on Monday.
