The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone held Super Eagles of Nigeria to a goalless draw during matchday four fixture of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Both teams played out a 4-4 draw in the matchday three encounter in Benin last when the Eagles surrendered a four-goal lead to record just one point from the match.
The results prevent Nigeria from nailing an early qualification for the tournament scheduled to hold in Cameroon in 2022.
Meanwhile, in the group’s other game, Lesotho played out a goalless draw with Benin Republic.
The Super Eagles still top the group with eight points with Benin Republic occupying the second spot with five points while Sierra Leone is third with three points and Lesotho is fourth with just one point.
