Obianuju Catherine Udeh famously known as DJ Switch, has debunked reports that she got asylum in Canada.
It should be recalled DJ Switch, who was signed by Peter Okoye in 2017 as his personal disc jockey, made headlines after recording the shooting that took place at Lekki Toll Gate in an Instagram live video on October 20, 2020.
After the gunshot incident during the #EndSARS protest at Lekki Tollgate, it was reported that she had fled Nigeria and has gotten asylum in Canada. Charles Abi, the personal assistant to Peter Okoye, granted an interview where he made it clear that DJ Switch was safe and out of Nigeria.
In a recent message posted on her Instastories, DJ Switch debunked claims that she had been granted asylum in Canada. She revealed she never entered Canada and has been cooked up in a house for months.
