A 44-year-old man has been charged regarding an alleged sexual assault on a teen, after an incident at a park in Brampton last weekend.
Recall that Peel Regional Police said on September 9 that a 14-year-old girl was walking along Chinguacousy Prk. located at 9050 Bramalea Rd., when she was followed and assaulted sexually.
Officers have however located and arrested 44-year-old Davey Anthony Hardware.
Special Victims Unit investigators have charged Hardware with sexual assault and sexual interference offences.
He was held for a bail hearing and has appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Special Victims Unit at 905-453–2121, extension 3460. Also, anonymous information may be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
