The theme of the event is “Bravery.”

The event was attended by David A. Epp MP, a Canadian politician who represents the riding of Chatham-Kent—Leamington in the House of Commons of Canada, Ed Sleiman, Windsor City Councillor, Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh; Stephen Laforet, Windsor Fire Chief.

While talking about the event, Dave Epp tweeted: “This past Sunday, I had the honour of attending the Nigerian Canadians for Cultural and Educational and Economic Progress (NCCEEP) 5th annual Omoluabi Black History Month celebration.

“The theme for Black History Month this year is “Ours to Tell” and the Omoluabi principle theme is “Bravery”, which was beautifully presented at this event.
