Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the world after snippets of his recent interview with Piers Morgan about his treatment at the club were released.
The full interview with Morgan will be aired on Wednesday and Thursday, but snippets promoting the interview have been released on social media.

As revealed by the snippets, the five-time Balon d’Or winner said he ‘doesn’t respect’ United manager Erik ten Hag while he also laid into other members of the hierarchy.
After the first tranche of snippets was released, fans of Manchester United wondered if Ronaldo would talk about United’s controversial owners after he talked about lack of improvements in the club since he left the club in 2009 to join Real Madrid.
However, Piers Morgan hinted that the 37-year-old discussed the Glazers in their chat, which was later released.
While talking about the Glazers, Ronaldo said: “The owners of the club, listen, they don’t care about the club. As you know, Manchester [United] is a marketing club. They will get money from the marketing. The sport, they don’t really care in my opinion.”
He went on to reveal that he hasn’t spoken to the Glazers since coming back to United in 2021.

It should be recalled that Manchester United’s supporters protested against the Glazers before the match against Liverpool at Old Trafford in August.
When asked if the fans were correct to protest, Ronaldo answered: “The fans, they’re always right. I think the fans should know the truth, should know that the players, we want the best for the club. I want the best of the club. This is why I coming to Manchester United. This is why I love this club. But you have some things inside the club which don’t help Manchester reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal, for example. Which is complicated, it’s difficult. It’s hard in my opinion, it will be hard for Manchester to be in the top of the game in the next two, three years.”
Ronaldo later slammed former teammates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville, who have openly criticized the striker his season.
When asked if Rooney was criticizing him out of jealousy, Ronaldo said: “Probably, because he finished his career in [his] 30s. So, I’m still playing high-level. I’m not gonna say that I’m looking better than him, which is true, but… It’s hard to listen [to] that kind of criticism and negative about people who play with you, for example, Gary Neville, as well.”

Morgan if they were his friends and he interjected: “They are not my friends.”
Manchester United are expected to respond to Ronaldo’s interview when it has aired in full.
