Manchester United superstar and five-time Balon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed on social media that his newborn baby girl has come home.
A few days ago, Ronaldo had sad news about his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their new expected twins.
Ronaldo and his partner were expecting twins (a boy and a girl) but one passed.
Ronaldo disclosed the passing away of the boy on his official Instagram account.
As a result of the baby’s death, Ronaldo could not play for Manchester United when they suffered a humiliating 4-0 to Liverpool at Anfield recently.
During the match, Ronaldo and his family received condolences as Liverpool and Manchester United fans sang together at Anfield.
While thanking the fans for the wonderful gesture at Anfield, Ronaldo wrote: “One world… One sport… One global family… Thanks, Anfield. Me and my family will never forget this moment of respect and compassion.”
Ronaldo provided an update on the status of his partner and their new baby girl with a message on Instagram which read: “Home sweet home. Gio and our baby girl are finally together with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures.
“Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family.
“Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world.”
