Justice Hamza Muazu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court Abuja has granted Godwin Emefiele, the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank, bail in the sum of N300 million and two sureties in like sum.
According to the Court, the sureties must have Certificates of Occupancy and titles of properties within Maitama District, Abuja.
Emefiele is mandated to deposit all his travel documents with the Court Registrar and must remain within the Abuja Municipal Council.

He will remain in Kuje Correctional Centre till he meets the bail conditions.
Emefiele was absent during the ruling on his bail application. His lawyer, Mathew Burkaa, said it was normal, as he is already at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
This came four months after the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos granted him bail in the sum of N20 million.
He was recently arraigned by the Federal Government on a six-count charge bordering on alleged procurement.
The original charge, which was 20 counts to the tune of N6.5 billion, was deceased to six, to the tune of N1.6 billion. Emefiele is the only defendant in the new charge.
