Bill Cosby’s representative Andrew Wyatt tells TMZ that the planned tour has been delayed due to the civil lawsuits filed by Judy Huth. Judy Huth alleges that the 87-year old sexually abused her when she was 15 at the Playboy Mansion in the 1970s.
The initial suit was filed in 2014 and, though Cosby denied the allegations and the suit stalled because of Andrea Constand’s case, it’s been reopened, with a trial set for spring in 2022.
Cosby was jailed for 3 years he was convicted for drugging and sexually assaulting Temple University staff member Constand in 2004. Cosby’s conviction was overturned in June, and was granted freedom afterwards.
Meanwhile, The Cosby Show actor’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, reported that Cosby has been “spending time on the phone working on several projects” at his Massachusetts home including a television show he has in the works.
“Things are happening,” he told Fox News. “He’s working on several projects right now, several ideas for a TV show that has him on the phone with producers, working with guys every day,” Wyatt added. “He’s giving his creative ideas and input.”
