A lot of people are keen to see Chris Rock perform live after watching him being slapped by Will Smith during the 94th annual Academy Awards.
According to Variety, ticket sales for the Chris’ solo tour have increased after the unexpected moment at the 2022 Oscars.

While citing a tweet from TickPick, Variety reported that more tickets were sold to the “Ego Death World Tour” in one night than they did all last month.
Also, the tickets cost have increased, rising from a minimum of $46 per ticket on March 18 to a minimum of $341. The increment in demand and ticket prices come roughly a month after he first announced he would be going on tour.
The “Ego Death World Tour” will kick off soon and will see Rock perform new things in over 30 cities across the country and will mark his first time on tour in more than five years. Also, he is scheduled to do six shows at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston and will perform alongside Kevin Hart for their “Only Headliners Allowed” Tour.

As previously reported by REVOLT, Rock joked about Jada Pinkett Smith on the Oscars stage. The joke prompted Will Smith to slap him.
Despite the slap, Rock maintained his comedic presence and joked that it was the “greatest night in television.” He has refused to press charges against Will Smith.
