Peel Regional Police have identified 22 child victims connected to the child pornography case which involves a 26-year-old camp counsellor that was charged with recording a video of a six-year-old child while using the washroom at a Mississauga day camp.
In a recent update provided, police revealed that all the 22 child victims were associated with the Mentor College (MC) day camp, during the period (August 2022 to 2023).
Authorities have also confirmed that the families of the victims have been informed of the situation.
Alexander Clarke, a resident of Mississauga, worked at the MC day camp from 2018 till the day of his arrest.
Initially, Clarke was arrested on charges related to child pornography but now faces an additional charges which include seven counts of sexual assault, seven counts of sexual Interference, 11 counts of making child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and one count of forcible confinement.
Investigators revealed there might be more victims.
