Popular entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy or Area Fada is set to hold thanksgiving over his life.
Recall that Charly Boy disclosed his battle with prostate cancer on his social media pages recently.
In a post on his Instagram page, Charly Boy recounted how he survived prostate cancer.
While posting a video of him being taken out of the theatre, Charly Boy wrote he had been battling the ailment for more than 10 days.
He said being a survivor is the greatest favour God has done for him.
He also thanked God for sparing his life, his family for their support and the Nigerian doctor who performed his surgery.
He wrote: “Gosh,
“I have fought one too many battles in my short life.
“Most of the time, I win.
“Prostate cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer his spirit.
“Abegi makes una help me thank God for giving me yet another chance”.
He revealed that he is set to hold a Thanksgiving to thank God for sparing his life and expressed optimism that his instrument starts to function again.
He wrote: “I dey go thank God for sparing my life, from Prostrate Cancer.
“Hopefully, my instrument go begin function again, I go let una know cos I go do another Thanksgiving for dat one.
“It’s not easy to be a Man oooo”.
