Ozonna Soludo, Charles Soludo’s son, has declared that Peter Obi of the Labour Party is the best presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 general elections. The 28-year old artiste who is based in the UK made the comment on Facebook while responding to a social media post criticizing his father for opposing Obi’s presidential ambition.
It should be recalled that Professor Chukwuma Soludo openly dismissed Obi’s presidential ambition recently saying he won’t win.
Also, the Anambra State Governor alleged that poverty increased astronomically in Anambra under Obi’s watch. Soludo’s comment triggered angry reactions from ‘Obidients.’
An attempt was later made to drag Ozonna into the conversation and he stated that his opinion is different from that of his father.
He wrote: “I would appreciate not being dragged into this. I am not an extension of anybody. I have my own opinions and have always said I think Peter is the best candidate. All this has nothing to do with me.”
