Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has disclosed that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the African continent has got to 3,021,769.
According to the COVID-19 dashboard of the continental disease control and prevention agency, 72,121 people have died of the disease.
In total, 2,450,492 people have been infected with COVID-19 and have recovered across the continent while the most hit African countries when it comes to the number of positive cases are South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, and Ethiopia.
