A 2017 Toyota Highlander that was stolen in Ontario, Canada has been tracked to Lagos, Nigeria.
According to CTV News, the vehicle belongs to Ahmad Abdallah but disappeared last September.

It was reliably gathered that the owner had lost hope of finding the car after surveillance video of the thieves unlocking his 2017 Toyota Highlander offered no clue.
Six months later, CTV News Investigates revealed Abdallah was able to find his vehicle in a lot located in a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria.
After he saw the video of his car for sale overseas, he realized how perfectly organized the criminals that stole his car might be.

During an interview, he said: “I got a call from you. You sent me a picture of my car. Oh, it blew my mind.
“This is clearly a big operation. There should be more people looking into it…we’re talking millions of dollars. This has to be taken seriously.”
