Canada’s 2,000th Tesla Supercharger stall now operates in Mississauga after the company launched its newest electric vehicle charging location in the Applewood Village Plaza recently.
The long-awaited 32-stall site was expected to be the biggest charging location in Canada until Tesla launched a 40-stall charging site in Richmond, B.C. in September. The Mississauga site will be Canada’s biggest prefabricated Supercharger location.
Construction of the Supercharger site in Mississauga commenced in the summer and the location eventually came online recently. The Applewood Village stall will not feature time-of-use pricing but will have a flat rate cost of $0.53/kWh instead.
