Canada will avail a ten-year loan of one billion Canadian dollars (CAD) to Ukraine, according to a draft government resolution that deals with the terms of the loan.
According to Ukrainian media, the government’s Resolution No. 639, dated May 31, 2022 stated that the interest on this loan will be at par with the International Monetary Fund’s rate, and there will be a 4.5-year moratorium.
The document also revealed that interest will be paid every six months after the conclusion of the grace period.
