Famous Nigerian singer, producer and songwriter, Damimi Ebunoluwa Ogulu, also known as Burma boy has tried to calm his fans over the leg injury he sustained during a recent performance in America by revealing that he spent years in Chelmsford prison before he went into the music industry.
The 31-year-old was in prison for alleged gang murder in the United States. According to him ‘ he had no idea he would live this long.’

Recall that controversial singer, portable, accused Burna boy of intellectual theft and coping with his slang.
While making the revelation, Burna boy said: “Nigeria doesn’t know me. I don’t care to be the biggest Nigerian artist. I’m just happy I can do what I love and take care of my people from it. If you know half the shit I used to do for money, risk my freedom daily, you would be way happier for me.”
He further confirmed that he would be performing on stage with his injured leg and reacting on his Twitter page and in a video, he said not even the bandaged leg could stop him.
As a songwriter and singer, he comes as a Reggae, Afrobeat, Dancehall, and Pop composer and has won several awards and nominees such as NME awards ‘Best Solo Act’ and Global Music Awards Africa ‘Artist of the year.’
