Famous Hollywood icon, Chadwick Boseman, who can’t be forgotten for his role in the movie, Black Panther, has died. He died after a protracted battle with colon cancer.
He died at his Los Angeles home in the presence of his wife, Taylor Simone, and other family members.
His death was confirmed by his family confirmed on Twitter while his family revealed he was first diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, two years before Black Panther was released.
Also, his family revealed that was shooting movies over the last four years while taking chemotherapy treatment.
His family wrote: “A true fighter, Chadwick preserved through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.
“From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wildson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy,” the statement said of the star’s private health struggle.
“It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.
“He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.”
