Popular American-Canadian Evangelist, Benny Hinn, will visit Brampton on August 19 for a special healing service.
The Evangelist leads Benny Hinn Ministries/World Healing Center Church in Grapevine, Texas. His no-for-profit televangelist organization announced that there would be “anointed worship, ministry and healing power of God” at the service which will start by 7 p.m. and end by 10 p.m. at 142 Salvation Rd.
The organization said though the Benny Hinn Ministries event is free, they welcome donations.
Hinn was raised in Toronto and he once led what according to his organization is “the largest healing service in recorded history,” attracting audiences of around 7.3 million in three services in India.
Also, he wrote best-selling books like Prayers That Gets Results and Good Morning.
Hinn has attracted controversy for saying he healed people through touch. In 2019, he changed his mind about the controversial prosperity gospel theology which teaches that God compensates those with faith with blessings which include wealth.
While counting down to the visit, he tweeted:
