Quit notice has been served by bandits to residents of Sabon Zama, Gindin Dutse, Anguwan Tsohon Soldier, Anguwan Yuhana and Anguwan Mangu villages in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to Daily Trust, residents of the area said the communities were stormed by masked gunmen who asked them to either leave within five days or risk a war.

Ubale Pinau, a resident of Pinau, a village not too far from Wase, told Daily Trust recently that the gunmen threatened to attack the area, advising them to vacate or face the consequences.
He said many residents have started moving to Pinau and other adjoining towns for safety.
When contacted, Operation Safe Haven’s spokesperson, Major Ishaku Takwa, said he was not aware of the quit notice
