Popular Comedian, Ayo Makun, also known as AY, has apologized to singer, Davido for making an insensitive joke about him.

AY got in trouble after a viral clip of him mocking Davido surfaced online.

During a recent comedy show, AY made Davido the subject of his joke, as he talked about Davido’s multiple baby mamas.

He said Davido has a “small penis,” which he uses to father children with many women.

He further compared his own situation and claimed he possess a “big dick” but only fathered two children with considerable gaps between their births. He expressed his shock at how Davido could attract many baby mamas despite him having a small penis.

The joke did not land well with many fans of Davido who found it offensive and inappropriate. They slammed AY for uttering such personal and potentially hurtful comments about Davido and his family situation. Some felt his comedic approach crossed the line.

Ay took to his Instagram and noted how Davido had every right to be angry with him, especially with the way his joke was twisted by the blogs.

He begged him not to reason it and declared that he remains Davido’s number one fan.

He wrote: “I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.

Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido”.
