The quartet of Tobi Amusan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma and Grace Nwokocha have won the gold medal for Team Nigeria in the 4x100m relay race at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The quartet made history in Birmingham as they became the first Nigeria women’s relay team to clinch a Commonwealth Games gold.

The quartet won the relay race in 42.10 seconds to break the 42.22 seconds African record they set in Oregon, the USA during the last World Athletics championships.

Amusan began the race with a great first leg before she handed the baton over to Ofili who later handed over to Chukwuma, who navigated the curve perfectly and handed over to Nwokocha.

However, the men’s team were unable to win a gold medal in their category, but they made history also by winning a bronze medal with the quartet of Udodi Onwuzurike, Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola and Raymond Ekevwo.

So far, Team Nigeria has won 11 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

It is an utter shame and a disgrace that the lralian boss will have the impunity to abuse her worker regardless of whether she is a Nigerian or American. It has been recorded that many bosses in Italy, Saudi Arabia, and some other Eutopean countries have subjected their employee to all forms of egregious and inhumane treatment. They mist be sued for compensation and damages to the physical body. These nuisances of bosses should be taught a hard less to deter them from future abuses, especially to a black person. Black should not be any body’s punching bag, or else they eill get what they deserve. Period.
