Air Peace, the leading airline in West and Central Africa, has officially announced the launch of its London service, set to begin on March 30, 2024, offering competitive fares to travellers. The announcement came through an official statement released to media outlets.
The airline revealed that flight schedules for the London route are now accessible on their website, featuring tickets at remarkable prices. For instance, a Return Economy Class Ticket is priced at N1,200,000, while a Return Business Class Ticket is available at N4,000,000. Additionally, Nigerian students studying in the UK can benefit from a special 15% discount on the already reduced Economy fares.
This move follows the airline’s recent engagement with travel agents in Lagos, where they introduced a special fare for Nigerian students in preparation for the London route launch. London marks Air Peace’s seventh international destination since its inception less than a decade ago.
Air Peace has been at the forefront of Nigeria’s aviation industry, boasting a rapidly expanding network comprising 21 domestic routes, 10 regional routes, and now 6 international destinations, supported by a modern fleet of over 30 aircraft.
Currently, the Lagos-London route is dominated by two British carriers, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways, which typically charge between N3 million to N4 million for economy class tickets and even higher prices, ranging from N8 million to N10 million, for business class tickets, depending on booking timing.
