Air Canada has signed a deal which expands the relationship with United Airlines in an effort to provide more flight options to the United States.
While talking about the deal, the Senior Vice-President of network planning and revenue management at Air Canada, Mark Galardo said the deal will kick-start a new chapter in its relationship with United Airlines that will facilitate its recovery from the pandemic and strengthen both companies.
Under the agreement, the airlines will be able to coordinate their networks and schedules, a move they say will make them offer customers more choice.

Also, both Airlines be able to sell seats on each other’s transborder flights and split revenue on flights between hub markets where regulatory authorities and antitrust requirements permit.
Air Canada and United Airlines are founding members of the Star Alliance network and a transatlantic joint business agreement with the Lufthansa Group.
