Nigeria’s Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc Olamilekan Adegbite has disclosed that Nigeria is presently the best location for both foreign and local investors to invest in as the country’s mining sector is still green and investors can realise maximum profits.
The Minister made this known at his briefing of members of the Press during the Pre-Event Press Conference for the Nigeria Mining Week which took place at the Ministry’s Headquarters, recently.
According to him, the Mining Week creates an opportunity for foreign investors to be involved in Nigeria’s mining sector, opens opportunities for Nigerian miners to get in touch with foreign technical partners and offers a platform for both local and foreign investors to relate with policymakers and stakeholders in the industry and said: “Nigeria need to attract the right investment in mining.”
While talking about the various achievements of the Ministry, the Minister reveals that the interactions that took place during the Mining Week would assist investors in knowing where to invest.
He said: “This year’s Mining Week promises to be the best as the sector has recorded many successes from the previous editions and we can now let investors know where exactly they can invest.”
