Ajibola Abitoye has been re-elected as a councillor in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta Province, Canada.
Abitoye who is famously known as Jibs, won the first election in 2017, five years after she immigrated from Nigeria.

She won her constituency seat in the recent election where she contested with 12 other white candidates.
While expressing her gratitude on her Facebook page, Jibs thanked the people of Fort Saskatchewan for allowing her to serve them for another four years.
She said that she was honoured and humbled for being given the trust to represent the good people of Fort Saskatchewan again.
She wrote: “Thank you Fort Saskatchewan for another 4 years to serve you as your city councillor.
I’m both honoured and humbled that you have again placed your trust in me to continue representing you. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence and I am very much grateful.”
