750,000 march for separatists’ release in Barcelona

Some 750,000 people protested in Barcelona on Saturday demanding the release of jailed separatist Catalan leaders, local police said.
The march, organised by pro-independence groups, saw crowds line an avenue in the Catalan capital waving flags and chanting “freedom for political prisoners”.
