In an ugly development that sent shock waves across the entertainment industry, Twilight Star, Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie Adenike Adepoju were recently found dead in Las Vegas.

The Nigerian Canadian News gathered that Boyce, 30, and his partner Natalie Adepoju, 27, were found dead next to white powdery substance inside the bedroom of their Las Vegas home by their roommate, Louis Ledbetter, on May 13.

Confirming the development, Clark County Coroner, John Fudenberg said the pair died from effects of cocaine and fentanyl intoxication and their deaths were accidental.

According to local reports, Ledbetter told police he’d last seen the couple alive 48 hours before he found them.

Delineating on the ordeal, Ledbetter, 33, said he’d woken up in the afternoon of May 13 having worked a night shift the previous evening to find the couple’s bedroom door closed.

Presuming they were out of the apartment, Ledbetter left the condo to return to work just after 2.30pm when he noticed the couple’s car was still in the driveway.

Alarmed, he knocked on their bedroom door and, after receiving no response, he forced his way into the room to find them both dead.

Police report said next to their bodies officers found an unknown white powdery substance on a nightstand, in addition to a straw and a plastic card.

His mother, Lisa Wayne, who lamented Boyce’s death in a Facebook post, said “I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain. I’d text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you’d tell me, Ma, I got you, we’ll get thru this together. Boy. Why did you leave me. We lived in the same complex and you were my dinner. You’d cook, I’d come eat and chill and walk back home. During quarantine, we started walking in the evenings. Me, you, Natalie, Alaya and Kaniya found a beautiful trail to walk on, we loved it out there. I wanted to lose weight so bad, but you just kept cooking and I cannot resist your food. Since you’ve left me baby, I’ve lost 7 lbs.”

His brother Chris Wayne described him as an ‘awesome person’. In a tribute on Facebook, he wrote: ‘You were my baby. Worried about you all the time.  I was always there for the rescue. I wish you were still here bro. The world lost an awesome person.’

It would be recalled that in an Instagram post marking his 30th birthday in December, Boyce shared a picture of himself as a child and wrote: “At one point I didn’t think I would make it to see 30 years old.

“Over the years like everyone else I have made mistakes along the way, but today is one of those days I only reflect on the great ones. What a time to be alive.”

Boyce was best known for his role as Tyler Crowley in the first Twilight franchise movie in 2008.

The deceased, who also appeared in the film short Apocalypse in 2018, had a 10-year-old daughter Alaya and his girlfriend had a young son called Egypt from a previous relationship.
