Oyo State Command of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has apprehended three Togolese who gained illegal entrance into Nigeria.

The arrested Togolese are Commando Kwasi, Eberivie Isiaq and Kemi Terivie (mother of one). The suspects escaped Republic of Benin’s border patrols and journeyed through Saki to Iseyin on April 28, 2020.

On getting to Nigeria for the year’s farming season, they were nabbed at Odo-Omu in Iseyin community, Oyo state.
This came following the Federal Government’s announcement of movement restrictions along the borders of the country after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
