Quebec police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old after a recent nightfall from a ski lift in Morin-Heights, around 70 kilometres northwest of Montreal.
According to Sgt. Catherine Bernard, police were called to the local ski resort at around 10 p.m. for an incident which involved a teenager.
Bernard stated that ski resort employees and first responders attempted to resuscitate the boy until he was taken to a hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Investigators are trying to understand the exact circumstances surrounding his death, and Bernard revealed a forensic team was dispatched to the ski hill, whose name police have not revealed.
Meanwhile, she said there is no indication of any criminal elements in the case so far.
She added that police are examining many possible reasons for the boy’s fall.
